1. General Information

Institute of Electronic Commerce is an affiliated research institution of School of Economics, Wuhan University of Technology, and is mainly engaged in e-Commerce, Enterprise Information and Knowledge Resources Management, Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Business Intelligence, Semantic Web and research of e-Commerce in the field of Intelligent Recommendation, supporting government departments and enterprises e-Commerce applications, Information Management Advisory, Information Resource Planning and other services.

Relying on the superiority of School of Economics, this institute introduced an IBM international cooperative project into Wuhan University of Technology, and built an iSeries e-business laboratory, which made our university as IBM first-level cooperation school in 2006. In addition, this institute has the series software of e-commerce development platform included IBM Websphere and IBM AS400 server, etc.

This team consists of 12 faculties, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 1 doctor supervisor, 5 doctors, 1 post-doctor, 3 PhD students, and 20 graduate students. 40 people of these faculties had engaged in the training of IBM e-commerce authentication.
